Donkeys in the Bible.
God created donkeys to help people in many ways, especially if they had a lot of heavy things to carry. Donkeys are called "beasts of burden" because you can put things on their back and they will carry them for you. Everybody liked to have a donkey, and many donkeys made a person very wealthy. God made donkeys with a very strange sound like hee-haw. Riding on a donkey became a symbol of embarrassment and humility. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, unlike most kings, who rode on magnificent horses.
